1. What best describes your normal workday?
2. How many steps do you usually take per day?
3. How many days per week do you exercise?
4. How long is a typical workout?
5. How intense is your training?
6. Do you do strength training?
7. How much cardio or sport do you do weekly?
8. How many hours per day are you standing or walking?
9. How tired are you from normal daily activity?
10. Is this a normal week?
How this quiz estimates your activity multiplier
The quiz uses a practical scoring model based on four things that often make TDEE calculators wrong: daily steps, job movement, standing time and training load. It gives a conservative recommendation for normal weeks.
| Multiplier | Label | Typical use |
|---|---|---|
| 1.2 | Sedentary | Mostly seated, little planned exercise. |
| 1.375 | Light Exercise | Some movement or 1–2 workouts weekly. |
| 1.55 | Moderate Exercise | Regular training or active daily movement. |
| 1.725 | Heavy Exercise | Frequent training and/or physically demanding routine. |
| 1.9 | Athlete | Very high activity, hard training, or demanding physical work. |
This is still an estimate. The best long-term method is to compare your predicted TDEE with your actual weight trend and calorie intake over time.
